In a grand and culturally profound ceremony, His Majesty the Litunga, Imwiko II, the revered monarch of Barotseland, presided over the installation of twelve distinguished Indunas at the sacred Namuso Kuta. Held in the esteemed Limulunga Royal Village, the coronation was marked by royal pageantry, traditional rites, and the symbolic crowning with Mishukwe by Induna Mutwaleti. These newly appointed Indunas, entrusted with the sacred duty of governance, bring a renewed sense of leadership and commitment to safeguarding the values and traditions of Barotseland.

With five dynamic young leaders among the appointees, the Litunga’s vision for a resilient and innovative governance structure is evident.   5. Pastor Solami Kwibisa – Induna Munono
  6. Lisepiso Kaongola – Induna Mwana Mutumwa
  7. Mundia Mwanamuke – Induna Bongwana
  8. Domi Simasiku – Induna Ilude
  9. Ikweti Mubita – Induna Alibebelo
  10. Ngenda Simonda – Induna Walyata
