Kasama Makes History: Hosting International Women’s Day for the First Time!

For the first time in history, the national celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD) will be held in Kasama, Northern Province, on March 8, 2025! 🎉 This momentous occasion brings recognition not just to the region, but to the incredible women and girls who continue to drive change in their communities.

Under the theme “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”, this year’s celebration is more than just an event—it’s a movement towards a more inclusive and gender-equal Zambia.
