The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources has been urged to fast track land titling services by embracing a more efficient, innovative and transparent approach.

Permanent Secretary Patrick Mucheleka, during a visit to the National Land Titling offices in Lusaka, challenged staff to adopt a results oriented work culture that meets public expectations and supports Zambia’s development goals.

“Land ownership empowers citizens, boosts access to finance and drives investment. To deliver this, we must shift our mindset and focus on timely, honest service delivery,” Mr. Mucheleka said.

He also stressed the importance of integrity and professionalism, warning that misconduct will not be tolerated as the Ministry works to streamline land titling processes under new reform strategies.

Mucheleka reaffirmed the New Dawn Government’s commitment to improving access to land documentation, positioning it as a key pillar of economic growth and poverty reduction.
