GOVERNMENT PAYS TRIBUTE TO LATE FORMER CHIPOLPOLO STRIKER TAPSON KASEBA

The Government has joined the football fraternity and the nation at large in mourning the untimely passing of former Chipolopolo striker, Tapson Kaseba, who died after a short illness.

Kaseba, who featured prominently for clubs such as Konkola Blades, Green Eagles, Buildcon and NAPSA Stars, will be remembered for his dedication and impact on Zambian football.

In 2019, he etched his name in history by scoring the decisive goal in the COSAFA Cup final against Botswana, delivering a proud victory for Zambia.

Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts, Hon. Elvis C. Nkandu, MP, expressed deep sorrow over the loss, extending condolences to Kaseba’s family, former teammates and the entire football community.

“The Government stands in solidarity with his loved ones and the football fraternity during this painful moment. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” the Minister said.
